We know the 1GA (90-91) pop-up headlight adjusters have issues with corroding and plastic snapping. Well… Here we like to resolve this problem with some NEWLY designed replacement parts.
The ONLY set designed for the 1GA and brought to you by FIBA Motorsport, the leader of innovation for the DSM platform!
Key features.
- Shafts will be made from stainless steel and feature stainless locking nuts. This is to protect long-term against corrosion.
- The NEW ball joint clips will be made from durable Nylon. These will come as OEM in both White and Black.
- Sold as a pair
Install.
It’s simple and fast. Remove your old ones and measure the ball joint centers, and do the lock nuts up to suit your old ones.
It is advised to clean as best as you can the MALE ball joints to prevent excessive wear of the nylon part! Then add some good quality grease to help lubrication, and then press them on firmly as you hear the CLICK as the seat! Yearly check the grease and keep them nice and clean to prevent dirt ingress and wearing faster by keeping surfaces clean and well lubricated!
(NOTE that the first time use will be a bit stiffer as they clip on)
