This is the V2 kit which was made after what was learned from the V1 kits from the DSM chassis. So this product was then completely redesigned and improved in a few ways from scratch, with 100% all-new items for the BEST full setup you can ask for! NOW for your Mazda RX7 FD!
With 1mm adjustment ranges you will be able to finely tune out bump steer and get the best handling possible, whether it’s a road car or race car. This kit works in any application.

New benefits include,
- Very strong 4340 Chromoly steel EN24T single-piece outer shaft.
- Revised outer spacers which offer an easier outer dial-out range of adjustment and over a wider range (1mm fine adjustments). (Total adjustment is over 25.4mm / 1″)
- M14 2-piece chromoly kevlar/teflon rod end. (upgraded 3-piece rod ends available for an extra fee)
- Chromoly EN24T double adjuster middle bar.
- Brand new high-quality inner tie rod end, which is stronger than the OEM units
- All shafts are nickel/zinc hybrid-coated for long-lasting corrosion resistance
WHY you need a bumpsteer kit
- Lowering your car means you will induce bumpsteer, and a way to safely dial it out or reduce it as much as possible.
- Bumpsteer will effect toe and thus will wear your tires out very fast! These will help with that.
- Once installed, these will stop the random pulling to the sides going over road surfaces, making for a more controlled and easier drive for you.
- Have you adjusted your roll center? Then these will be required to help alongside those as now you will have a mismatch setup not optimal. Once you adjust the RC you must be able to acount for the new bump steer that is induced as a product of the RC change.
These are for the later APRIL 94-02 chassis where inner rack threads are M16x1.5 only!
Will NOT work on the M16x1 PRE April 94 chassis! We cannot be held responsible if you do not confirm your system before ordering. These use the M16x1mm thread pitch!
This kit comes as a full replacement, everything from the inner to the outer tie rod end! It’s a 100% complete kit for you, and it even comes complete with brand new inner rubber bellow covers, so everything is covered and no trips to the hardware or parts store are needed!
The rod ends on this kit are not designed for cover boots due to the adjustment spacers, but you can if you wish to buy these to give some protection: https://secure.chassisshop.com/partlist/15344/
